My Vacation

Time is equal to Life, Therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.For the past few years I've wasted my vacation in eating, sleeping and playing video games and computer games at home. But now I tried to spend it doing some productive things. I tried to bond with my family and friends.

I went to my brother's house and we played video games together. At least this time I'm bonding with my brother.We ate a lot of food together. I played basketball the next day and we went swimming. There was only one day where I stayed at home doing my usual routine. The day after, we went to Manila to relax and we stayed at a hotel. The hotel was very beautiful. At all soul's day we didn't go to the cemetery because we're very tired when we got home. I also visited my girlfriend at Trece and we went to eat together somewhere. On the last day of vacation I got sick so I didn't go to church. While resting at home I decided to finish all the homework I have left. Well, I did finish all in time.

I've spent my vacation wisely compared to my previous vacations. I have no regrets. My sembreak was not that fast because a lot of things have happened. I can say that this one week vacation was very memorable.

Power of Love

        What is love? The word “Love” can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure. No erudite, expert, teacher or philosopher can accurately define love. Love is so complicated that making this essay makes my head hurt. Just thinking about it makes me ponder for a while and think about what really love is. That is how complicated love is.

       They say love moves in mysterious ways. Like I said love is complicated. For some melodramatic people love is the most powerful force in the world. Well, it is believable for love can change everyone for the better good. Based on personal experience and observation if you try to look for love love will see you first. Love is very powerful for it can make two people who don't even know each other care so much about the other.

         If you're going to ask me If I have fallen in love my answer would be yes. It was during my second year in high school. It happened unexpectedly. I never anticipated that I would fall in love that time. I've known her for only months that time because during our first years I have no care for her. I may not have care for her before but now I feel like I can't live without her. That time I was happy to fall in love with the girl I like.

       I really can't explain the feeling of being in love. I just know that a lot of things change to a person. Before, you spend almost all of your money to eat and be satisfied. Being in love is like saving money for your love so you could go into date with her. Even if it means sacrificing your snacks or lunch. Before, you spend most of your time playing computer games, eating or sleeping. Being in love is getting tired of your computer games and giving time for your love instead.

         I like girls that have confidence. Before I really don't have interest in girls but I think love changed me. Made me soft. I would love a girl wholeheartedly if she would do the same to me. I would love her if she would love me for who I am.

        Love can change anyone. Even the stiffest and darkest of hearts can be changed by strong love. Maybe I would be moved to believe that love is the most powerful force in the world. Love is very hard to give especially when you have been hurt by love before. That's why I thank you Kathrina for loving me even if I'm crazy or very hard to love. I will never find another girl to love. I promised the world that I would be loyal to one girl. So don't worry for I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will give you all for I trust you that you will never hurt me. Love is very great isn't it. Making two people who doesn't care for each other and turning their friendly arguments turn it into very sweet talks in just little time. I am one of the people who believe that love is the most powerful force in the world.

My Teacher My Hero

        A teacher is an individual who plays the most vital role in the development of any being. Their job is not that simple. The future of any student depends on the qualities and dedication of a teacher.They don't just stand in front of a few students and tell them some facts. Not as simple as to just sit on their table and calculate our grades.

Our teachers are our heroes. Our teachers try continuously. Teachers respect students who try hard even if they do not succeed; similarly students should respect teachers who try their best for quality teaching. teachers are always ready to take risks. They set impossible goals for themselves and then struggle hard to achieve them. teachers always have positive attitude. Cynical people usually create a negative attitude in people especially in students since they are in a raw state of growing and developing attitudes. teachers are seldom free for extra activities. As they are either busy preparing lesson plans, grading papers, trying to instruct their students and if nothing else counseling students in areas that have nothing to do with specific courses.

We should be grateful that we have great teachers like them. They are always on our side. Even though we sometimes forget about them they're still there to help us and guide us whenever we lost our ways

What Hatred Has Halved

In the great City of Athens, a man named Romeo is madly in love with Rosaline. But it seems that they are never meant to be together. Romeo's father, Oberon, sees him spending time alone in the woods. Oberon orders his servant, Puck, to give Romeo the magic potion made from a flower in the forest. Romeo fell asleep and Puck poured the magic potion to his eyelids. Oberon, wanting new love for Romeo, carries him to the ball aboard the ship. Romeo awakens and sees the lovely maiden, Juliet. Romeo fell in love faster than a lightning bolt. The two became really close to each other. While the people in the ball are enjoying their time, Oberon was found dead. The news spread quickly. Oberon was killed with a knife. The knife was given to Oberon's son. A wild tempest appeared out of nowhere. Everyone in the ball panicked. A thunderbolt struck the ship and the ship breaks in half. The passengers fell. When they regained consciousness, they discovered they were drifted to the shores of Athens. Romeo saw Oberon happy with his wife, Titana. Romeo got very confused because he saw with his own eyes the cold dead body of his father. He overhears the conversation of Oberon's men. They described Juliet as a whore. Angry, Romeo tells everyone about what he heard. Juliet was heartbroken. While walking, he encountered three witches who introduced themselves as Oberon's servants. They told Romeo the real story behind Oberon's death. Oberon has a twin brother. They were separated by a storm when they were still young. Oberon hated his twin brother because he thought he never searched for him. Oberon was killed by his twin brother, who happens to be king Hamlet's assasin, and his men. He was killed so he won't be able to stop the tempest. They also revealed the truth about Juliet. What Romeo heard was a lie. Romeo felt sorry for he truly loved Juliet. Guilty, Romeo apologizes to the Capulets. They told Romeo that Juliet died from a heart attack. The Capulets ordered Romeo to marry Juliet's cousin. Romeo accpeted it in guilt. On the day of the wedding, Oberon's men kidnapped Romeo. Seeing Oberon, He went berserk and broke free. He grabbed a guard's sword and raised it against Oberon. Romeo shouts "Impostor". Oberon draws his sword and they fought all out. It came to the point when Romeo was on his knees. Oberon throws Romeo's sword away. When Oberon was about to cut Romeo's head off Romeo grabbed the knife, the knife from his father's body, in his pocket and stabbed Oberon on the heart. Oberon's last words revealed that Titania was behind his father's death. After the dreadful incident the wedding resumed. Juliet's cousin revealed herself as Juliet. Titania lost her crown and was never to be seen again. Romeo and Juliet became the king and queen. They lived happily ever after.

For me the quote "Fair is Foul and Foul is Fair" means that nothing in this world is what it seems. We live in a world where we're never sure if what we are seeing right now is real. It is a world where you can't easily trust anyone. Let's all admit that we still judge other people by their looks. The least attractive people are those we deal with less kindness. We treat attractive people with great benevolence. I have an experience when I was still an immature kid. I would treat people based on their appearances. I mostly like girls who have white complexion, almond eyes, cute voice and short hair. Whenever I see a girl of my type I would want to know her more. If I see someone whom I really dislike his looks I would avoid them at all cost. But now I'm a changed person. I treat everybody equally. I love somebody now. I fell in love with her not because of her good looks. I fell in love with her because she has a good personality. She is understanding, responsible and sweet. As I look at who she really is she gets more beautiful each day. This makes me love her more. What we really need to look at is what's inside and not what is seen by the naked eye. The world could be deceiving. But there are times that we are over thinking things in which you yourself should know when to stop. Good looks can't make me laugh when I'm down and entertain me when I'm bored. I don't care what she looks like. All we should care about is the personality and who the person is. Appearance is just a plus in a relationship and personality si what matters the most in everybody

Climax

Climax of A Midsummer Night's Dream

          What is the climax? The climax is the most intense, exciting, or important point of something; a culmination or apex. We were asked to identify the climax of the famous Shakespeare play entitled "A Midsummer Night's Dream". I'll only give my opinion so it may not be very accurate.

           There is a part in the story where Lysander and Hermia decided to elope. Helene told Demetrius about the plan of the two. Then, Demetrius and Helena went after Lysander and Hermia. When they decided to sleep Lysander and Hermia agreed to sleep far from each other. Puck thought that Lysander was the man wearing Athenian clothes Oberon referred to. Puck poured the love potion on the eyelids of Lysander. When he woke up he was in love with Helena. Puck making a mistake, made the four of them quarrel. 

This part of the story is the climax for me for this is where the conflict is really emphasized. This is the part where excitement is at its peak.

To Forgive is to Forget

To Forgive is to Forget

          How do you forgive? Do you forget about it? Forgiving and forgetting are two different things. How are they related? For me forgetting is the best way to forgive.

          There are reasons why we should forgive and forget.First, Forgiveness means that you've made peace with the pain, and you're ready to let it go. It's to tell others that you have moved on from the past.Second, we forgive because it is for us. If we forgive we would be moving away from the pain that we were once trapped in. Third, forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. Only a strong person can face pain head-on, forgive and release it. Fourth, forgiveness is also about forgiving ourselves. Guilt never makes anyone feel better.Last, forgiveness is the most beautiful form of love. Forgetting is also one way of forgiving. Sometimes we need to forget the bad things that happened and focus on how to fix it instead. That way it would be easier for all to move on.

        Forgiveness isn't that hard to give. All you need is a little courage and acceptance. Everybody makes mistakes. There are times where we have to accept and face the truth.

Sports or Studies

Academics and Athletics

The success in academics and athletics may both be caused by interest. There are those people that really enjoy reading, analysis and answering problems. There are also those people that loves to let out the energy that is stored inside their body in an activity that will wear them out on their will.

Despite the research which shows the need to stress academics over athletics, there are some who believe that a sport is their ticket to success. There are many reasons why students find sports more important than school. The most enticing draw of professional sports is the money that can be earned. Duncan states, “Money talks, so right now there is an absolute perverse incentive. Folks follow the money, and the money says, ‘we don’t care about academic outcomes’.” It’s a difficult argument to contradict when the average family physician makes less than $200,000 a year and the league minimum for Major League Baseball is $300,000. Doctors spend countless years in school, studying and learning how to be a doctor while in some scenarios; teenagers are making over $100,000 dollars a year more than them because they are good at playing a sport.

I would rather choose academics. A student athlete’s education is a crucial part of their college experience. While sports may be a major focus for some, the academic component is vital. Academics success leads to more career opportunities and acts as a fall back plan for failed professional athletes. Since the research shows that the number of college athletes who make it to into professional sports is small, it is important that sports are not favored over academics.

          I am not surprised why Dennis left you. Why? The only reason is your very fat body.Before, I thought that I'm only a toy for Dennis used but later I realized that he can't bear to be with you anymore. First, He can't stand your habit of meddling with his leisure. Second, You're always calling him whenever his at home and more.

         He told me is ashamed to be with you at school or in front of his family. He also asked you to exercise and lose some weight. But you hate exercising. Though you are the prettiest girl he knows. Do you think you are the "Beautiful Girl" of Jose Mari Chan?

       Even though you have a beautiful face(or so you think) you don't have the right to call me offensive names because I never call you names in front of Dennis or at his back. But you started it so I'm going to call you names like pig, fat, obese, overweight and ugly shape girl. Shame on you for being fat.

Why I blog

      What is a blog? A blog is a conflation of two words: Web and log. Blog is a log of thoughts and writing posted publicly on the World Wide Web. 

       Blogging in my opinion is better than hand written informal themes. First, it is easier to type than to write. I like typing more than writing because it is easier to correct. Second, My hand writing is terrible. I have a bad hand writing so it's a factor that gives me a low grade but with blogging I don't have that kind of problem. blogging helps us to share our thoughts and opinions. Being in touched with the world is important for it keeps us updated from what is happening around us.

     Blogging is a much easier form of writing. I prefer blogging more than hand written informal themes. It is a very efficient way to write your thoughts and share it to the world.

If others can do it so can we

Courage

         Courage is a very powerful word. Courage is the ability to confront our fears and problems. I admire those people with courage. I know it is very hard for us to confront our problems especially now as a student.

        There is someone that I really admire. His name was Jay Moriarty. He was an accomplished surfer, water man, and an adventurer from Santa Cruz, California. He was internationally famous at the age of sixteen. Even though he is still young he is already successful in life. 

         His father left him and his mother alone. His childhood friend doesn't want to be seen with him. Even though he has a lot of reasons to give up hi still pursued his dreams. I admire him because of his courage.

         Although, he didn't fight the challenges in his life alone. A man named Frosty who is a pro surfer helped him. Frosty taught him how to be a good surfer and while doing so also taught Jay a lot about life. Time came when Frosty needed Jay's help and that time Frosty learned something from Jay. His passion for surfing helped him become successful in life.

        I want all people to live like Jay. I want all of us to have the courage to face our fears and stop running away from them.  All wee need is courage.

          

To be or not to be

"Choices"

              Most of us find excuses to avoid harsh truths we know are present in ourselves. As a student we face a lot of hardships as we move on. The choice to face those hardships or runaway from them are in our hands.

             As a high school student I myself face a lot of hardships. There are times when projects, homeworks, quizzes are given at the same time. With so many things to do you wouldn't know where to start. Giving up would always cross my mind.Even though giving up crosses my mind I always think that if others are doing what they can to overcome this hardships then maybe I can do better. I always remember I am not alone in this times.

             I always remember that we always have a choice. Yes you can run but sooner or later, you run out of places to run to.

      An iphone is a very useful gadget. They can be used for other purposes other than for texting and calling.  They can  also be used as portable media players. They also have digital cameras. They can be used to listen to the radio too. iphones can also be used to surf the net. They can send e-mails and voice messages. They also have a large variety of games for all ages. They also contain references. iphones also have a navigational system that is very useful when traveling. The iphone could be used as a substitute for a lot of things. The iphone really is an incredible gadget.

Romeo and Juliet Alternate Ending

      In the churchyard that night, Paris enters Juliet's tomb and scattered flowers on Juliet's grave. The page then warns him that someone is approaching. He withdraws into the darkness. Romeo enters with Balthazar. Romeo ordered Balthazar to leave and deliver the letter Romeo had given him in the morning. From his hiding place, Paris recognizes Romeo. In a rage, Paris accosts Romeo. Romeo asks Paris to leave but Paris refuses. Romeo and Paris draw their swords and fight. Paris's page runs to get the civil watch. Romeo kills Paris. As he dies, Paris asks to be laid near Juliet in the tomb, and Romeo consents. Romeo goes to Juliet's grave. Romeo speaks to Juliet of his intention  then he kisses Juliet, drinks the poison, kisses Juliet again, and dies. Just then, Friar Lawrence enters the churchyard. He encounters Balthazar, who tells him that Romeo is in the tomb. Troubled, the friar enters the tomb, where he finds Paris’s body and then Romeo’s. As the friar takes in the bloody scene, Juliet wakes. Juliet asks where her husband is. The friar quickly replied that both Romeo and Paris are dead, and that they must leave. Juliet refuses to leave. The friar leaves without her.Juliet looks at the body of Romeo and Paris and she thought " It could have been the other way around. What if I gave Paris the real poison then Romeo would still be alive right now and we could have ran away." Then Juliet tries to kill herself but fails thinking that this isn't what Romeo wanted. Juliet left the Tomb. Juliet Leaves Verona to start anew with only friar Lawrence knowing that she is alive. The families hatred for each other grows stronger. The Capulets accuses the Montagues that some Montagues took Juliet's body for unknown 
reasons. The Montagues Accuses the Capulets that they sent Paris to bring Romeo to the tomb and kill him. The story ends with Juliet living life alone and the two families still hate each other.

My Great Father

My Father

         A father's duty is to guide their children to the right path while being there every moment. They are the head of the family that leads them to success. I have nothing more to ask from my father for he has done his duties as a father to me.

        My fathers has work everyday even in weekends. Even thought he's always at work he still has time to steer me in the right direction. Helping me in my homework is on of his ways of showing me how he loves me. He would stay late at night just to help me in my studies. My father loves to organize our house because he hates disorganized stuff. He influenced me to keep my room clean and organized. I have seen how he helps other people when they have problems. He is always ready to help those in need. When I grow up I want to be better than him because that is what he wants. 

        He is the greatest influence in my life. I would do my best just to make sure his efforts in leading me to the right direction will not go to waste. He may not have superpowers but for me he is my hero.

A True Hero

The Hero of My Life

                The hero of my life would be my father. I know a lot of people would say that they have the best father in the world but I wouldn't. If a lot of people would say that then their father's are equal. My father is  much better.

                My father taught me a lot of things from following orders quickly to being grateful to what you have. My father always tell stories about his experiences with his father and that he is just teaching me what he learned from his father. I would never dare disobey him for I have seen his efforts to raise us with virtue. He is always doing his best support our needs. There are times that he spends more time at work than at home I know that he is doing it for us. 
                 
                 I always feel comfortable whenever I am with him. He is my first best friend that is always there when I need him. Without a doubt my father is the hero of my life.
